    • Kevin Blais a été éliminé en 6ème place sur une main un peu malchanceuse. Il poussa son tapis de un peu plus de 1 million de jetons de la position UTG, et le croupier a annoncé le all-in et sorti la carte indicatrice. Quand l’action est arrivé à Shawn Martell, celui-ci a lancé deux jetons dans le milieu sans rien dire, en pensant qu’il complétait le big blind. Ce geste est entendu comme un appel du tapis de Kevin, mais il était assez clair de son regard étonné que Shawn n’avait pas cette intention.

    Il n’y avait pas de controverse, cependant, car il n’y avait pas de question que le geste de Shawn le forcerait a appeler le tapis de Kevin, que c’était son intention ou non, et il n’a pas protesté en aucune façon.

    Le résultat était en faveur de Shawn par contre, puisque son Ace of Hearts 9 of Diamonds a finit par gagner contre les Jack of Clubs Jack of Spades de Kevin sur le tableau de Queen of Hearts Ace of Diamonds 7 of Diamonds 7 of Spades Ace of Spades.

    Champion de l’Évènement 1: Steve Pouliot!

    Le premier événement de la Classique Printanière Playground Poker 2014 vient de couronner un champion! Steve Pouliot, qui avait une grande avance sur les autres pour la majorité de la deuxième moitié du Jour 3, a réussi à éliminer Daniel Charette en 2e place pour remporter la victoire, le prix de 32 184$, et le bracelet de champion de la Classique Printanière!

    Après que Daniel avait fait un retour dans le duel de tête-à-tête en se doublant deux fois de suite pour se rapprocher du tapis à Steve, il s’est retrouvé tout-en-jeu pré-flop à nouveau, et à nouveau il était en avance. Mais cette fois, sa paire de Queen of Diamonds Queen of Spades n’a pas pu gagner contre les 4 of Hearts 4 of Clubs de Steve, qui a fait une suite sur un tableau de 6 of Diamonds 6 of Clubs 5 of Clubs 2 of Hearts 3 of Clubs.

    Daniel a tout de même remporté un beau prix de 28 684$, puisque les deux finalistes ont fait un accord pour partager les bourse également, tout en laissant un extra 3 500$ et le bracelet pour le gagnant éventuel (qui était un des termes de cet événement).

    Parmi les 1492 entées que nous avons reçu pour ce premier évènement de la Classique Printanière Playground Poker, 391 ont passé au Jour 2. Puisque la formule de ce tournoi permettait aux joueurs de réessayer un autre Jour 1 même s'ils se sont déjà qualifiés pour le Jour 2, on a vu 5 joueurs se qualifié deux fois. Ils ont le droit de garder leur plus gros tapis, et donc il y aura 386 entrées qui reviendront demain.

    • Nous venons d’assister à une immense main entre deux joueurs qui ont été parmi les leaders toute la journée, ainsi que un troisième qui est en train d’accomplir la remonté de sa vie.

    Avec le bouton en siège 1 , Daniel Charette (qui a rebâti son tapis de 5K a plus de 600K) était dans le BB . Shawn Martell, assis au siège 6 ( UTG +2 ), relance préflop à 150K et a rapidement été appelé par Stephan Belisle au siège 9. Daniel a ensuite misé le reste de son tapis, soit plus de 600K.

    Shawn a pensé pendant quelques instants avant de relancer à un million de jetons. Stephan a fait l’appel, et le croupier a sorti un tableau de : 9s : 2s : 7s. Shawn a checké, et Stephan annonça tapis presque instantanément. Après un petit délais, Shawn a fait l’appel.

    Les cartes ont été revirés, et c’était les 7 of Diamonds 7 of Hearts de Stéphan, contre les 8 of Clubs 8 of Spades de Shawn et les 10 of Clubs 10 of Spades de Daniel.

    Le turn est un insignifiant : 4c , mais la rivière était loin d’être négligeable – le : 3s donna la couleur à Daniel et à Shawn. Daniel a plus que triplé à 1,9M , tandis que Shawn a pris les reste des jetons de Stéphan, soit un peu moins d’un million, en plus de quelques centaines de mille dans le side-pot. 

    Stéphan a reçu 1 030$ pour son placement.
