    The players have just wrapped up their final break of the day at Event 1c and level 13 is now underway. During the pause in the action the chips were counted and it was determined that Sergei Gurin has opened up a substantial lead. His stack of 228,000 chips is 50,000 more than his next closest competitor, Ara Astoorian, whose stack measured 157,000 chips. Following Ara, Mitchell Besharah and Youri Parisien are running neck and neck in third place with 143,000 and 142,000 chips respectively.
