Day 1G is on it’s second break of the day, and the 143 player field has nearly been cut in half through 8 levels of play. The flight will resume when the final 15 is reached, who will the bag and tag onto Day 2.
Mathieu Lavigne currently leads the field, and his 108,000 stack is the only one in the 6-figures thus far. Levon Dedeyan (89,500) and Donghai Lu (69,000) round the top 3 in chips.

The 8th starting flight of the Extravaganza is minutes away from lift-off, and cards will be in the air at 4pm sharp. Players will have until the end of the first break to register, at 5:30pm.
So far this event has a combined total of 631 entries through 7 flights, and with $100,000 guaranteed in the prize pool, we are looking at the potential of some overlay. Anyone wishing to take part of this great value-tournament can do so by either registering in this Day 1h flight, or in Day 1i at 7pm, or Day 1j at 10pm. All the surviving players from the 10 starting flights will be reunited tomorrow at 7pm for Day 2, and the champion will be crowned on Tuesday, Day 3.

Day 1F of the Extravaganza has just come to a close, and from the 40 player starting field, 4 have bagged chips onto Day 2.
With registration now closed in Day 1G, we can add another 143 players to the combined total of the Extravaganza. Through 7 flights, this $100,000 guaranteed event now has 631 total entries, leaving room for some potential overlay. This is therefore becoming a great value tournament for the players!
If you wish to take part in it, there are still 3 more starting flights scheduled today: at 4pm, 7pm and 10pm (turbo). All of the flights play down until the top 10% is reached, and all players who qualify will secure at least a min-cash. Should a player qualify more than one stack, each forfeited stack will result in a $300 compensation.
Levon Dedeyan is leading the Day 1G field so far through 4 levels of play, and his nearly 60K stack virtually doubles any other player in the field. With 143 players in this flight, action will continue until only 15 players remain, who will bag and tag their chips onto Day 2.
Late registration is still open in Day 1G of the Extravaganza, part of the Playground Poker 6th Anniversary celebrations, and so far 132 players have taken to the felts. Given there was a short weather delay in the starting time of the flight, players will now have until 2:45pm to register into Day 1G.

There were 40 entries in Day 1f – the Turbo flight that began at 10am this morning – meaning that 4 players will qualify for Day 2. The flight has reached 9 players remaining, and at 10 remaining they came together on the final table, where play will continue until 10% of the starting field remains.
