The third of the 10 starting flights in the 5-Year Extravaganza is set to begin in just about 20 minutes – at 4pm this afternoon. So far the numbers have been impressive – there were 116 players in the morning flight that started at 10am, and another 240 in the first afternoon flight that began at 1pm.
Today’s Day 1a flight will play down to 12 players, and it has dropped to 25 players so it’s starting to move towards a conclusion. On the other hand, of the 240 players that started Day 1b, there are still 140 players at the tables – so there’s a long way to go to get to 10% of the field.
