    Second break update

The second break has come and gone, and the 87 remaining players of the $200 + $20 Deepstack event are back in action in level 9.

Two players have distinctly separated themselves from the field, as Mario Page (204,100) and Normand Deguire (134,400) are the only ones to have breached the 100,000 mark so far in this event. In fact, no one else has more than double the average stack so far but these two players.

Mario Page has just became the massive chip leader in this $200 + $20 Deepstack event, as he found himself on the winning end of a rare four-way all-in on the flop.

We missed the exact action, but on a flop of 3 of Diamonds 4 of Spades 5 of Spades, four players were involved in a raising war which lead to a four-way all-in, where three of the players turned over spade flush draws. The four hands tabled were King of Spades King of Clubs, 10 of Spades Jack of Spades, 6 of Spades 8 of Spades and Queen of Spades 7 of Spades. With already 9 spades showing and only two cards to come, it seemed rather unlikely we would see another spade, however the dealer dropped the 2 of Spades on the turn. It was far from over though, as three of the four players still had a chance to win the hand, but the 5 of Hearts on the river sealed the deal for Mario Page, who held the Queen of Spades 7 of Spades.

Since Mario had the biggest stack at the start of the hand, he was the lone survivor of the hand, and with that huge pot he now holds over 200,000 in chips, putting him far far ahead of anyone else in the field.
