Day 1d had a total of 186 entries and played down on Day 1 to the following 19 players remaining.

These are player-provided counts and although we do our utmost to verify that players are reporting their precise count, it’s the physical chips sealed in their bags which are returned to play on Day 2.

The players in Day 1d are on a break and as they have left the table we were able to survey the tables and find that there are 3 particularly “rich” players – at least rich in tournament chips!

So far, the leaders are Marc Antoine Gaudreau (134K), Behrooz Salemi (111K) and Izzy Coppola (107K). Considering that starting flights seem to be playing out over 18 levels to reach 10% of the field remaining, though, this flight is most likely only half way through to the end tonight – there is still a lot of time for other players to catch up or overtake these leaders!

Players in Day 1d have returned from their first break of the day and registration closed in this starting flight as play resumed in level 5. There were a total of 186 entries in this 4th of 10 starting flights, which brings the total number of entries so far up to 698 with one more flight left to begin tonight.

Tonight’s 7pm flight – also known as Day 1d in the 5-Year Extravaganza – is well underway as play moves towards the end of level 2 with 151 entries so far. Late registration will continue until 8:30 – and then there’s a fifth Turbo flight to follow at 10pm.
