The Main Event in the CPP MILLIONS has come to a close with just 12 players remaining. Everyone left is guaranteed a minimum of $42,000 – but as heady as that payday would be, everyone is really gunning for the top prize – a cool $1,000,000!
The chip leader following Day 4 is Canada’s Sam Greenwood, followed closely by Norway’s Jonas Gjelstad. The field is full of landmines, however, and it’s going to take a full day of heavy-duty poker skill to navigate the way through all 11 other players for the one who will emerge as the champion.
Also in action on the final day will be two players we know very well at Playground Poker Club – Montreal’s Ruben Perceval and frequent big-event visitor Michael Malm. Ruben and Michael are starting with 13bb and 12bb respectively, but both of them have the skill and the experience to run that up – if they get a little luck as well.
Play resumes at 12:00pm local time, and players will return to 90-minute blind levels that will begin at 1.2M/2.4M/2.4M – when the first card is dealt, there will be 6 starting stacks on the table… every hand.
