The CPP MILLIONS Finale played through 10 levels on Day 2, with the first 4 of those levels accepting Day 2 registrations, which ballooned participation to 216 entries. With additional levels added to the end of the day (the original plan was for 8 levels on Day 2), the field was culled down to just 26 players remaining.
The chip leader going into Day 3 is Moldova’s Pavel Plesuv, but Montreal’s own Marc-Olivier Carpentier-Perrault will restart in 3rd place by chip count. partypoker Sponsored Pro Kristen Bicknell is also still in the hunt, along with Germany’s Manig Loeser, a frequent big-event guest we’ve come to know at Playground over the years.
Play resumes at 12:00pm local time, and players will return to 60-minute blind levels starting in level 19, 100K/200K/200K.
