The CPP MILLIONS Open event is now down to 31 players who are just about to wrap up play in level 23. Following this, they’ll play one more full level tonight and then bag chips to return on Day 4.
There are still some players we “know” at Playground in the field including Rodney Ramalho, Philippe D’Auteuil, and William Blais.
The bubble in the MILLIONS Open event didn’t take overly long to burst, but even so the normal mass migration of players to the rail – and the cashier – happened right on cue following the elimination of the player in 96th spot. There have already been 23 players eliminated in the money, although the pace will slow down once the pay jumps get juicier.
One of the Playground Players that has not made the money – yet – is Brian Morgan, who is still seated in the tournament.
The bubble is approaching very quickly in the MILLIONS Open event and the current chip leader seems to be lapping the field – Rainer Kempe is playing 26.8M – over 3x the current average!

The players still in the MILLIONS Open event are assembling now in the tournament area where they are finding their tables, unbagging their chips and taking their place to resume action today.
There are a few players we know well from Playground Poker Club still in the field that we will be paying special attention to today. At the top of the list by chip count is William Blais – a very familiar name at the top of daily results lists.
Other players we’ll keep our eye on today include Ruben Perceval, Rodney Ramalho, Brian Morgan, Nick Basile plus of course such big-name players as Mike Leah, partypoker Pro Kristen Bicknell, and Philippe D’Auteuil.
