Daniel Andelman is on fire in Event 7. He was already the overwhelming chip-leader when play fell down to 26 players, 2 spots away from the money, when he picked up a premium and knocked two more players out, bringing Event 7 into the money.

Adeel Aman Bangash was under-the-gun with 55,000 when he pulled the trigger for all of his chips. Action folded around to Daniel on the button, who announced all-in. The small blind folded, and Roger Lamia made the call with a short stack from the big blind.

Daniel: King of Spades King of Clubs
Adeel: Ace of Hearts Queen of Clubs
Roger: Jack of Clubs Jack of Diamonds

The 7 of Hearts 7 of Diamonds 10 of Diamonds 10 of Hearts 5 of Hearts board stayed clean for Daniel, who added another ~15 big blinds to his name. His stack is up to 765,000, which is more than 4 times the chip average at the moment.

The rest of the field is now in the money! Congratulations!

Event 8 of the Playground Poker Fall Classic has just kicked off, and this is a $300 + $30 No Limit Hold’em Survivor Event. The format of a Survivor is similar to a satellite, in the sense that once the field is reduced to the top 10% of participants, the tournament ends, and all ‘surviving’ players are awarded an even share of the prize pool, regardless of their finishing stack sizes.

Late registration for this event will remain open until the end of the first break, or roughly 9:00pm. 124 players have already registered, but this count is steadily increasing.

Good luck to the players in the field!

Andleman leads after 15 levels of play

As the tournament staff was racing off the T100 chips, the players of Event 7 were given a short break. During this time we did some chip counts, and the table below shows the current leaderboard. Not far behind are Steven Escobar (282,000) and Marc-Olivier Carpentier-Perrault (249,500), while the rest of the field is below 200,000 in chips.
