Preflop action folded around to player on the button, John Olivier Pombert, who open shoved, clearly noticing that Denis – in the big blind – was relatively short stacked. Action folded to Denis who reluctantly called and tabled 
, a hand which figured to be dominated most of the time in that spot.
But not this time. John Olivier turned over 
– it had been a pretty speculative steal attempt against a player who didn’t have enough chips to lay down any better hand then Jack Queen…
None of that mattered, though, as the community cards ran out
