Michael Tieu has already amassed over 145,000 tournament chips going into level 5, which represents a huge lead on the field – 2nd place at the moment is playing just a 92,000 stack. There’s still a long way to go, however, so we’ll be monitoring his progress the rest of the way.
At the end of the last level and during the break we had a few more big names join the event – Liv Boeree, Joe Serock, and Igor Kurganov have all taken their seats in the tournament.
