Here are a few of the interesting tables we’ll be watching as the day progresses:
- Table 54 – features Jeff Madsen, Mike Leah, and Carter Swidler, and also local player Jason Conforti who recently won the $1,650 Second Chance event here in the Playground Poker Spring Classic earlier this year.
- Table 59 – features Antonio Esfandiari and Jonathan Duhamel, certainly the most well-known players in the field, and also Erwann Pecheux, one of the top players to come out of France in recent years.
- Table 27 – this is the table that Marc André Ladouceur is starting on today, but he’s joined by Brian Yoon, Kevin MacDonald, and Andy Frankenberger. The name that may seem out of place of those four is Kevin MacDonald, but he has had great success here in the past.
Overall, 33 players have already been eliminated, including two particularly talented local players, Benoit Jean and Said Michailidis.
