    One of the classic poker dilemmas just played out on Table 62 as during the 3rd hand of play, Dany Lavoie found himself with pocket Aces and was raised all-in by his opponent in the hand.

    When you ask people, “what do you do if, in the first hand of a tournament, you’re forced to call off your entire stack preflop with AA?” the answer is surprisingly mixed. According to probabilities it’s not even a reasonable question – of course you call with such a strong holding. But when you actually ask players, the answers you get will be all over the map!

    In any case, there was no dilemma for Dany, nor for his opponent, and soon all the chips were in the middle.

    The board ran out completely safely for the pocket Aces and Dany managed the early double up.

    Players are taking their seats in the Tournament Hall here at Playground Poker Club as we get ready for action in the 3rd of 4 starting flights in The Wild $150. This is Event 1 of the 2015 Playground Poker Fall Classic presented by Partypoker.net, and as usual for this event, there’s a massive $100,000 prize pool guarantee!

    With 5 minutes to go before the start of the action tonight there are already 151 players registered, which many more players due to arrive throughout the late registration period. Players can join the tournament any time until the end of the break after level 4 – which is to say they have until about 10 past 9 to jump in the action.

    Day 1b of Event 1 in the Playground Poker Fall Classic presented by Partypoker.net began at 7pm on Sunday, November 1st. There were a total of 229 entries in this, the second of four starting flights in the event. When all 13 levels had been played, 55 players remained. These players have all qualified for Day 2, which will begin at 7pm on Wednesday November 4th.

    Any player who entered either of today’s starting flights in the tournament may re-enter in a subsequent starting flight – this is a “next day re-entry” event, meaning that players enter each of the 4 starting flights once.
