Event 14 is off its third break of the night, and level 10 has just begun. Although the original plan was to play 16 levels today, the TD decided to cut it back by one level to 15 total for today. The players still left holding chips at the end of this will return tomorrow for the conclusion of the event.

Tony To, better known by his alias “GameBoy”, has been making heads turn in this edition of The Playground Poker Fall Classic, as he not only won Event 5 – $1,000 + $100 NL Hold’em, but then ran deep the WPT Montreal, where he made a huge comeback on the final 3 tables from 1/2 a big blind to over 150 times that amount, before finally crashing near the end of Day 3.

He currently leads this Event 14, as his stack approaches 4 times the average stack. Here are the top stacks entering level 10:

Registration is now over for Event 14 – the $1,500 + $150 NL Hold’em Second Chance, and a total of 136 players took their seats to participate in this 2-day event, and are battling it out for a top prize of $53,110.

Some notables found in the field include players such as Jonathan Duhamel, Dylan Wilkerson, Eric Afriat, Will Molson, Giacomo Fundaro, and many other well-known stars in the poker community.

Play in the Second Chance event has just moved into level 3 and 88 players have already taken seats in the event. There will be a break following this level and we’ll find the early leaders at that time. Remember that late registration is available until 4pm, so there’s still lots of time to jump in and take your chance in this, the 2nd biggest event in the Fall Classic.

The last of the larger buy-in events in this year’s Playground Poker Fall Classic is the $1,500 + $150 NL Hold’em Second Chance tournament, which began today at 11am and is scheduled to play over two days.

Play has been underway for 45 minutes and through the first level of play there are 60 players seated in the tournament. Late registration is available until the end of level 6, and with 45-minute blinds all day, that means that players can enter the event any time until 4pm this afternoon.
