Event 15 has proven to be even more popular than we thought, and tournament staff is doing everything they can to seat everyone, although several tables in the Tournament Hall are still being used in the Second Chance event… and half of the (huge) room is currently being transformed into a television set!

Note that the number of players registered includes all alternates, whether they have been seated yet or not – which simply means that there may be some adjustment of that number before it can be considered final. Late registration ends shortly, following which we’ll publish the final number of players as well as the prize pool and other information.

Event 15 in the Playground Poker Fall Classic presented by Partypoker.net is a $100 + $10 NL Hold’em Deepstack Turbo tournament. This is a very popular format at Playground Poker Club, and considering that most of the events in this half of the Fall Classic schedule have had larger buy-ins, this should prove to be a very popular event.

What makes this tournament a Deepstack is this: players start with 25,000 tournament chips. The “Turbo” part of the name comes from the fact that blind levels are just 15 minutes long! So this tournament is all about the interplay between deep stacks – but quickly rising blinds.
