Event 16; and the Fall Classic comes to a close
Tonight is Event 16 in the Playground Poker Fall Classic presented by Partypoker.net. As has become traditional in major festivals here, the final event is a Bounty tournament – this time it’s a $200 + $30 + $100 NL Hold’em Bounty tournament. This means that $200 of a player’s buy-in goes to the regular prize pool, and $100 of the buy-in goes to a special bounty chip that each player must give to the person who eliminates him or her from the tournament.
Bounty tournaments are funny. A lot of the prize pool is represented by the Bounty chips in play – so it definitely pays to pay attention to them and try and win as many as possible. On the other hand, $100 is not so much that a player should risk their tournament for it – but in fact you see that relatively often in this kind of event.
In any case, the bounty tonight has attracted a huge 222 players, which means that not only will there be that many bounties to try and win, but the regular prize pool will be huge as well.
Good luck!
