Participation in Event 7 has continued to grow past the 200 mark and with the tournament into level 6, that means there’s only about 20 more minutes to register. With the money bubble having burst in Event 5, we expect a few early ITM players there to make move to the other part of the Tournament Hall, plus the regular few players to like to jump into tourneys at the last minute.

The TD has made his opening announcements and given the traditional command: “Shuffle up and Deal!”

And with that, Event 7 has begun. There are 66 players seated to start the day but with 6 levels of late registration and Day 2 of the $1,100 Deepstack starting at noon, this number is going to grow a lot before the final number is locked in. In Playground events, particularly ones that start during the day, easily 60% to 70% of the field could enter as late registrants.

Today is a busy day in the Playground Poker Fall Classic presented by Partypoker.net, and the first event to get things going today is Event 7, which is a $500 + $50 NL Hold’em Freeze that is going to start just minutes from now.

The $550 Freeze is a one-day event with 30-minute blind levels the whole way and 6 levels of late registration permitted. This means that players can enter any time until 2:30pm today, and as usual we expect players to continue to join in throughout the late registration period.
