Day 2 of The Wild $150 has come to a close, and 27 players have survived through 26 total levels of play to finally bag and tag their chips onto Day 3. Through 4 starting flights, this opening event of the Playground Poker Fall Classic attracted a total of 1,198 entries combining to a prize pool of $156,878.00. Once the time ran out in the 12 levels of play of Day 2, the field was reduced to just 3 final tables.
Leading the way is Sebastien Proulx, who amassed an astonishing 2,425,000 chip stack, and is the only player above the 2 million chip mark. A few other players bagged 7-figure stacks, while 6 players return tomorrow with under 10bb to their names. Below are the full player-reported chip counts from the end of Day 2, and we will shortly publish the new seating assignments for Day 3.
The tournament concludes with Day 3 tomorrow, Thursday November 3rd, at 7pm – and will play down until a champion is crowned. Along with the cool $28,000 top prize, the winner will also take home a sweet Playground Poker Fall Classic Champion’s Trophy.
