We missed the action, but when we arrived at table 36 the board showing Jack of Hearts 9 of Hearts Queen of Clubs 10 of Diamonds Ace of Hearts, and 10 of Hearts 8 of Spades in front of Fadi Haddad in the small blind. Garry Antonio had a second best 9 of Diamonds 3 of Diamonds in front of him, as he stood up and congratulated his opponents. He was eliminated in 21st place, good for $1,050.

Eric Fournier was also sent home not long after, and his fall came in two parts. In the first hand, he saw a good chunk of his stack get shipped towards Tanvir Ahmed, as his Jack of Hearts Jack of Spades fell short to Ace of Clubs King of Clubs.. Moments later, with under 200K to his name, he was all-in with 7 of Hearts 8 of Spades, but couldn’t overcome the pair of 2 of Spades 2 of Diamonds that his heads-up opponent tabled to finish his run in 20th.

Glen Hammers was down to around 10bb when he found an unopened pot in late position. He moved all-in and found a call from Rachid Bahaj in the blinds.

Glen: King of Spades Jack of Clubs
Rachid: Ace of Clubs 10 of Spades

Rachid’s hand was the winner, as the community cards were 3 of Spades 4 of Clubs 9 of Diamonds 8 of Hearts Ace of Diamonds, and Glen was eliminated in 19th place, good for $1,050.

The field is now down to 18 players on 2 final tables.
