After a long drought of eliminations, the average stack in Event 11 dropped below the 10bb mark. This was not due to lack of action, but in every all-in / call that occurred in the last 2 levels, the shorter stack won the pot.

Two hands ago, Lukas Soucek moved in his 160K stack (less than 2bb) and when action folded around to Grant Ellis in the big blind, he opted for the call. Lukas doubled up with Ace of Diamonds King of Spades versus 9 of Diamonds 10 of Spades, leaving Grant with around 2bb behind himself. The rest of his chips went into the middle on the very next hand, but his 5 of Clubs 9 of Clubs fell second-best to the Ace of Hearts 8 of Spades of Martin Nadeau.

7th place: Grant Ellis – $2,945.00
