Today is a big day in the 2016 Playgrond Poker Fall Classic as the schedule moves into the first of the larger buy-in events, starting with today’s Event 5, the $1,000 + $100 NL Hold’em Deepstack Freeze. The weather in the Montreal area is unseasonably warm, and today there’s nothing but blue sky – it’s a beatiful day for a drive 15 minutes south of downtown Montreal to join in the fun here at Playground Poker Club.
Today’s tournament is scheduled for two days. Players will start with 25K in tournament chips and play will continue through 15 45-minute levels today, at which time the remaining players will bag up their chips for the Day 2 restart tomorrow (Wednesday November 9th) at noon.
Action gets underway in about 20 minutes and late registration is available through the first 6 levels – meaning that players may join any time until 4:00pm today. If the past is any indication, we expect players to jump in the event throughout the late registration period.
Good luck on the felts!
