Today is Event 7 in the Playground Poker Fall Classic presented by partypoker.net. The tourney today is a $500 + $50 NL Hold’em freezeout tournament. The whole tournament is scheduled to play out in a single day, and there are no rebuys or re-entries today – everyone who joins the event will play one buy-in. With an $80,000 prize pool guarantee it’s definitely going to be a hit!
Players start today with 20K in chips and blinds will be 30 minutes long throughout the tournament. It’s a single day event, so play will continue today and tonight until a winner emerges!
The tournament has just gotten underway in the Tournament Hall and there are already 68 players in the tourney with more registering every minute. Late registration is open until the end of level 6 – in other words, until 2:15pm – and we expect a good number of players to jump in during late reg.
