The 3rd of 4 starting flights in The Wild $150, Day 1c, began at 7:00pm on October 31st and attracted 261 entries. This adds up to a total of 825 entries in the first three starting flights in the tournament. After 14 levels of play, 60 players remained – these players have all qualified for Day 2, which is set to begin at 7:00pm on Wednesday November 2nd.

Players in Day 1c of The Wild $150 have just completed 8 levels of play and still have 6 more to pummel through before bagging and tagging their chips onto Day 2. During the short chip-up break that occured, where the tournament staff raced off the T-25 chips, we took a walk through the room to find out who has taken the lead so far in this flight.

Two players in particular are leading the pack, as Raphael Ohayon (152,000) and Pascal Corbeil (142,100) are the only players to have breach (and well surpassed) the 100K mark. Nearing the 6-figures are Eric Ranger (99,100), Philippe Drouin (96,600), Amed Pacho Sierra (94,800), Rami Hammoud (93,600) and Pierre Leonard (88,300), amongst others.

Late registration is now closed in this third flight of The Wild $150, and 261 entries have been added to the pool, bringing up the total to 825 entries so far. One more flight remains, with Day 1d scheduled at 7pm tomorrow night.

Two players have taken an early lead in Day 1c, as both Danick Landriault and Raphael Ohayon have more than quadrupled their starting stacks after 4 levels of play.

Play has just resumed in level 5, and will continue through until the end of level 14 before the survivors bag and tag their chips onto Day 2, which takes place on Wednesday night at 7pm.

Day 1c of the Wild $150 has just sprung into action, and with already 130 players in their seats to start this flight, we can expect yet another great turnout. So far through the first 2 starting flights, we’ve seen 564 entries take place. Tonight and tomorrow are the two last chances to participate in this opening event of the Playground Poker Fall Classic, a series which features 17 various events over 18 days of poker.

Late registration will remain open through until the end of the first break, and players therefore have until 9:10pm to hop into the field.

With 2 starting flights already in the books, The Wild $150 has already had 564 entries and of those, 130 players have qualified for Day 2. There are two more starting flights available in Event 1 – Day 1c which starts tonight at 7:00pm, and Day 1d which will begin at 7:00pm on Tuesday November 1st.

Players who join us for Day 1c tonight will have the extra fun that it’s Halloween at Playground Poker Club! This is always a special day here at the Club, as we invite staff to dress up for the occasion – of course, only if their costume doesn’t interfere with their work in any way. So don’t be surprised if your next hole cards are dealt by a zombie bridesmaid or if you pass Superman and Wonder Woman in the poker room tonight!

As the last segment sets to begin, two players clearly stand out from the rest of the field. They both have over 200K, and are well positioned to keep an eye on each other, because they are sitting right next to each other! That’s right, Jean-François Jodoin and Yan Nadeau are currently leading the field, and occupy seats 9 and 10 of the same table! After 2 segments, the chip distribution seems to be a little bit more polarized than usual, with 5 players over the 100K mark, and 10 players with more than double the average. This means one thing: a lot of short stacks! The next portion will see many competitors with their whole stack in their hand ready to throw it in, and it will be interesting to see if the leaders will benefit from it, or if things will level out.
