The number are out for the seniors tournament, and some very nice sums are up top. The Champion of the Event, apart from receiving Event 10’s Champion’s Trophy, will go home with $6,750.00. Fifteen of our senior players will be paid tonight, according to the following table:

Our players are back from their first break of the night, and we now know that our final number of participants is 145. It is great to walk around the tables and notice how relaxed players are, undisturbed by the prospect of gain or accomplishment. We call that maturity!

Here are the first pictures of the field. The first one is of Pierre Rémillard, our Spring Championship 2016 seniors Champion, and the second is of Richard Fiegel, our World Cup of Cards Canadian Grand Prix Champion.

After 3 levels of fun-packed poker, players are still registering into this 50-and-over tournament, for seniors only. 140 entries and counting! It’s really nice to see that our seniors are not afraid to come and have fun in a late night Event! These participants sure have a lot of stamina to show for, and you have another half-hour to join them on this quest for a Playground Poker Fall Classic Champion’s Trophy!

In just moments, the seniors’ tournament will be underway. This tournament has been a success since its addition to the Playground Poker Festivals. It has a $20,000.00 guarantee which has already been met, 110 players having registered so far. Levels will be 20-minute long, and seniors will be allowed to late register until the end of the break following level 4, which will be around 9:30pm.

Remember that you have to be at least 50 years of age to play in this Event. If you are, come and have fun measuring your experience with your fellow seniors.
