Ninety-two players showed up for the PL 5-Card Omaha Event, which is a pretty good turnout, considering the marginal status of that format. Players who enjoy that game are obviously action players, which is probably why the field has already dropped to 35 players. Here is the prize pool for this Event:
| Pos | Prize | Bourse |
|---|---|
| 1st | $6,280.00 |
| 2nd | $4,992.00 |
| 3rd | $3,880.00 |
| 4th | $3,060.00 |
| 5th | $2,400.00 |
| 6th | $1,870.00 |
| 7th | $1,480.00 |
| 8th | $1,160.00 |
| 9th | $910.00 |
| 10th | $720.00 |
Tonight is a special night for a lot of players. The Event that we have in line for you is a PLO tournament with a twist. Players get dealt 5 cards instead of 4. Why 5 cards? Because we love it! This game grew in underground clubs and kitchen games for a while, until it was ready for the big leagues. It is treasured by most PLO players as it provides more options for your hand. One can have a made-hand/nut-draw combo much more often, and it allows for action to take off more regularly.
