Day 1b of The $250 Frenzy has just entered level 9, and 6 more levels remain before the remaining players bag their chips onto Day 2. Leading the field is Wesley Nunes, who has chipped up to a staggering 132,600 in only a few levels of play. Two other players, Randy Khalil and Samuel Roussy, have also breached the 6-figures, and more will follow in the levels to come.

Day 1b is nearing the half-way mark of the night, as nearly 6 levels have passed us so far. The eliminations were slow to start, however more and more green lights (signalling an elimination) are being seen throughout the tournament hall.

With a short break coming up after level 8, we will bring an update on the leaderboard. Play will continue tonight through 14 levels of 30-minutes.

With the registration period now closed for Day 1b of The $250 Frenzy, we can lock in another 224 entries to the pool, bringing the total up to 352 entries after 2 flights. There are still 4 more flights ahead of us, giving players plenty of opportunities to run up a big stack for Day 2 of this $200,000 guaranteed multi-flight event.

Through 4 levels of play, only one player has build a stack worth mentioning, as Daniel Mackay sits on nearly 75K in chips. The rest of the field is found below the 50K mark in these early stages of the tournament.

Level 3 has begun here in Day 1b of The $250 Frenzy, and registration has climbed up to 162 entries. Players have a little over an hour left to jump into the action, as registration is set to close at 8:15pm.

The second flight to The $250 Frenzy, a $225 + $25 NL Hold’em tournament with a guaranteed prize pool of $200,000, is well underway as we near the end of the first level. So far just over 100 players have already turned up for this multi-day event, and with late registration still open until the end of the first break, we can expect this number to steadily grow over the next 2 hours.

Players have until 8:15pm to register into this Day 1b. As this is a next-day re-entry, anyone wishing to participate in more than one starting flight is more than welcome to do so. In the event that a player qualifies two or more stacks onto Day 2, only the biggest stack will move forward.
