With only 22 players remaining in Event 4, the tournament is now being played out hand-for-hand until the money bubble has burst. One more elimination separates all but one of the remaining players from securing a cash prize.

Play has now entered level 19 as the players have returned from a break and tournament staff has removed the pink T500 chips from play. There are just 29 players remaining in the tournament and with the big blind up to 16K, no one is particularly safe in terms of stack size. Volatility guaranteed from here on out!

Here are a few additional photos of the players in Event 4 in the Playground Poker Fall Classic, the Deepstack Turbo event. True to its name, the tournament is already into level 12 and more than half the field has been eliminated.

The players in Event 4 have just taken their second break of the day while tournament staff removed the green T25 chips from play. During the break we surveyed the room to establish the leaderboard at this point in the tourney.

Christopher Manson is currently the chip leader, having amassed almost 120K in tournament chips, but in this format of tourney it is often a question of “easy come, easy go” as the blinds rise quickly and players are placed under increasing pressure.

By the time late registration came to a close in Event 4, today’s $100 + $10 NL Hold’em Deepstack Turbo event, there were a grand total of 205 players, which added up to a total prize pool of $19,885.00. This will be distributed according to the following table.

In addition, the winner will receive the Fall Classic Champion’s Trophy and an entry in next winter’s Champion’s Freeroll.

Players in Event 4 are coming up to the end of level 5, which means the first break of the day is rapidly approaching – everything in this tournament seems to be rapidly approaching! Registration so far is up to 202 players – a much larger number than was expected – but with some additional dealers and tables added, there are just 3 or 4 players still waiting as alternates – who will certainly be seated very shortly.
