After 6 starting flights over 3 days, The $250 Frenzy is now moving on to the next phase: Day 2. Of the 1,366 total entries that took place, 286 have qualified for Day 2 (this figure includes multiple qualifiers), of which 135 can expect a cash prize. With the final prize pool totalling $298,129.00, a cool $50,000 is reserved for the eventual winner, who will also take home a Playground Poker Fall Classic Champion’s Trophy.
Day 2 begins tomorrow, November 7th, at 7pm sharp, and will continue for 12 levels of play. Anyone who qualified a stack will need to bring a valid piece of ID with them to the tables tomorrow.
The biggest stack to return to the felts tomorrow will be that of Kosta Papa, who won a massive 462,000 pot to end his Day 1f flight. He leads second in chips Ruben Perceval by nearly a 100,000 margin. Other big stacks from this flight include Peter Bodnar (274,000), Evangelos Kamperis (247,000), Leo Mantas Ragusa (240,000), Eric Ranger (215,500), Francis L (205,500) and Yan Touchette (203,000).
