Xuan Liu qualified through her first and only Day 1 but unfortunately for her was unable to translate that into a deep run in this year’s WPT Montreal. Xuan lost most of her chips a few hands early while we were away from the tables, and after a couple of hands holding around 2bb, she open jammed from the cutoff – and considering her stack size, found calls from both the small (Poorya Nazari) and big blind (William Blais).
