Jason Mann made a deep run in last year’s WPT Montreal and was eliminated in 14th place – and this year he has duplicated the result exactly.
He was finally eliminated by Ema Zajmovic, who has been playing her large stack quite aggressively, raising at least 75% of her hands in late position and not decreasing the rate very much out of position, benefitting from a very short-stacked Alex Keating to her direct left, with Mike Sexton 2 to her left and Jason and his short stack beside him. She’s been picking up all of the “dead chips” in the past half hour – but has also picked up some more substantial pots as well.
Jason finally got it in with

flop – and found a quick call from Ema holding 
. She was behind but had tons of outs, and the 
on the turn only added to her chances. The 
on the river gave her the runner-runner straight which sent Jason to the rail.
