Event #16 was the first of 2 Bounty Events today. This one started at 12:00pm, and had a $100 + $10 + $25 buy-in. 126 players showed up for this bounty hunt, and played all afternoon for a chance to put their hands on the Champion's Trophy. Event #17 was the last of the Playground Poker Fall Classic. The series crowned 17 Champions, including former World Champion Jonathan Duhamel who took down the High Roller Event, and Maxime Héroux, a local hero who is now the happy owner of the WPT Montreal title and the coveted belt that comes with it. The High Roller was Event #12 in the Playground Poker Fall Classic, and featured a $10,000 + $300 buy-in with a $300,000 guarantee. Players were allowed unlimited re-entries leading up to the start of Day 2, and once registration was closed there were a total of 29 entries, one shy of the guarantee.
