14 players have bagged their chips at the end of Day 1 of the High Roller Event. This, however, does not mean that only 14 players will start Day 2, because registration remains open until the first Day 2 hand is dealt.
Jamie Sequeira joined the Event about 30 minutes before the end, after busting in the money in the WPT Montreal. He only played a few orbits, but he had time to catch up to the 185K average. He busted Hamidreza Kamali, who then came back to his spot, the last player to re-enter the Event. The money went in on a flop.

Martin Raus had a last minute boost, and because Alex Difelice did the opposite, Raus bagged the lead. They are both over 300K, very healthy going into tomorrow where blinds start at 2K/4K/4K.
Day 2 starts at 1pm tomorrow afternoon, with a full player re-seating. Here are some recent photos of the 14 players that bagged chips:

Day 1 of the High Roller is entering the last level of the day, and Alex Difelice (pictured below) has done very well for himself in the last 2 levels. He is sitting on a little over 400K.
Ajay Gnanasambanthan is not too far behind, leading his own table with about 310K. Some of those chips must have come from Darren Elias, whose stack has dwindled down to about 220K.
On the third table, Samuel Greenwood leads with 250K. In the last hour and a half, 2 more re-entries took place, made by John Krpan and Lawrence Greenberg.

After 4 levels of play, PLO players are taking a short break. The end of the break will not close the registration period, as 2 more levels en entries and re-entries are ahead of us.
Justin Hung did very well for himself, accumulating 151K through 2 hours of play. He is leading the field at this point. Prize pool information and payouts will be published as soon as the window closes.
