It’s almost 11:00am, which is when Event #1 in the 2017 Playground Poker Fall Classic is set to get underway! The first event is a special one. Named “Strangers in the Night”, the entire tournament fee will be collected to give to the Strangers in the Night charitable initiative, which supports charities all over the Montreal area.
The event is hosted by none other than hockey legend Larry Robinson. He was spotted this morning in The Rail Coal Fire Bistro having a nice breakfast – it takes sustenance to play a long day of poker!
Cards will be in the air in the event in just over 15 minutes, and we’ll be following Larry’s progress throughout the day.
