Robert Notkin is a regular visitor to events hosted at Playground Poker Club and was the champion of the famous Canada Cup event that featured a 4-way all-in to wrap up the tournament – perhaps the only time that has occurred in a major poker event.
Robert filled us in on a recent hand he won to almost triple up in the early going. There were 3 players in the hand on a 5-5-2 flop. There was a bet and two calls on the flop and then a 7 was dealt on the turn – gin for Robert’s , and well ahead of what we learned was pocket deuces (flopped full house) for the player in seat 3 and pocket JJ for the other player in the hand. The river 7 kept this third player in the hand
We’ll have an initial leaderboard following the break at the end of this level.
