At one point earlier in the day, Playground tournament regular Gaetan Perreault needed to double up from just 17K to stay alive in the tournament, but from that point, he managed to grow his stack and ladder up pay levels until he reached the final table with a modest – though not short – stack.
His ultimate hand came after chip leader Trevor Adams raised to 90K. Gaetan shoved all in for his last 640K. The blinds folded and Trevor went in the tank… but only for a minute or so – “Call!”
