The last hands of Day 1B have just been played, and when the dust settled, it was no surprise to see Noeung Troeung at the top of the board. After 4 levels, he was in 5th place, and took the lead sometime before the dinner break, never to let go of it. He bagged 280,900, the largest qualified stack so far.
Brian Altman has also been climbing all day, without ever going down by more than a few chips. Brian will take all of his tournament experience along with 239,700 chips to Day 2.
Asher Conniff rounds up our top 3 with 210,800. It is his first experience at Playground Poker Club, and so far he’s loving it! See the combined list of Day 2 qualifiers in the results section. A lot of our qualifiers will get together at the Rail Coal Fire Bistro for some drinks at the WPT party. You can join them! See you tomorrow for Day 1C of the WPT Montreal!
