The Final Table players in Event #14 are on a break and we were able to get full counts for all 10 remaining players while they were away from the table.
Eric Place remains in the lead, but Brian Altman has chipped up a tremendous amount and is now sitting just 2,000 chips behind the leader. With 2 players nursing sub-9bb stacks and a third player with 16.5bb, the likelihood is high that the action will start quickly following the break.

The Second Chance tournament has defied all conventional patterns as it has taken over 1 hour 45 minutes to eliminate the first three players in the money. The pace of play continues to be very deliberate, but with the chip average currently only 25bb, that situation cannot hold for very long.
14th: Jonathan Bussieres, $4,120.00
15th: Spencer Jean-Baptiste, $4,120.00
16th: Patrick Blye, $3,600.00

With 16 players left in the Second Chance event, Eric Place has managed to build up a healthy lead in the tournament is is moves into the money. He’s currently playing a 452,000 chip stack, while the total of the next-best competitor is Daniel Le with 307,000. They are both on Table 53, and on Table 54, Jason Duval leads the way with 269,000 followed by Jamie Sequeira with 249,000 in chips.
It’s still anyone’s tournament, though – there are plenty of other decent stacks in the hands of quality players that anything could happen.
