After 10 hands of hand-for-hand play, Adam Hussen has been eliminated by Spencer Jean-Baptiste on the bubble.

Spencer opened the action with a raise to 11K, and action folded around to Adam in the big blind who went all in for 59,500. Spencer tanked for a minute or so but eventually made the call.

The flop was safe for Nines – and the turn was OK as well: . But the on the river gave Spencer a better pair and Adam was out of the tournament.

The new TDA rules specify that hand-for-hand play will be accompanied by a flat 2 minute clock runout per hand, and this bubble period took the clock down to 2 minutes left in the level. Each table got in one hand once the clock re-started and then players were on a scheduled break.

The Second Chance event was officially down to 18 players when a redraw of the entire tournament was performed. Just minutes later, Gianluca Cedolia was eliminatesd which means that the tournament now is playing hand-for-hand.

The Second Chance tournament is moving along very deliberately, with only 6 eliminations in almost 2 full levels of play. With one more elimination there will be a full redraw in the event, and at the next break we will produce a full list of chip counts for the remaining players.

The first level is behind the Second Chance players, and the field is now down to 21 players across 3 tables. Of these, 16 will secure a payout, with the lucky winner set to take home a sweet $53,580 prize.

There are just 25 players left in the $1,500 + $150 NL Hold’em Second Chance tournament in the 2017 Playground Poker Fall Classic, and they have assembled around 3 tables in the Tournament Hall to resume play.

In fact, the TD has just finished the opening announcements and with that the clock has started and cards are in the air. 16 places will pay in the event, so the 25 players will start under pressure from the get-go today.

Event #14 in the Playground Poker Fall Classic saw a total of 127 players join the event, and after 14 levels of play, 25 players remain in contention for prizes in the tournament. 16 places will pay, meaning that players will be under pressure almost immediately upon the 1:00pm restart.
