William Cornelius Johnston (pictured) opened to 31,000 from the button, and William Molson replied with a 3-bet to 78,000 from the big blind. Johnston made the call and they were heads-up to the flop.
Molson checked the flop, and called a bet of 90,500 from Johnston. Both players checked on the turn, and once the peeled on the river, Molson looked over at his opponents stack and moved all-in. With around 100,000 left, Johnston made a call which lead to his demise – Molson had flopped three-of-a-kind with , besting .
