With a stack just under the 10 big blind mark, Kiril Martinov Gelev opted to move all-in from utg+1. Action folded around to Ruben in the big blind, who tanked for a moment before committing the chips.

Felix Sides, who was the chip leader at the start of the hand, opened from middle position to 55,000, and went heads-up with Philipp Daze, who made the call from the button.

Play was hand-for-hand in Event 4, as the field had just dropped to it’s two final tables, and we were only one elimination away from being in the money when a very unique and statistically rare hand occurred.
Odette Temblay raised to 22,000 from middle position, and Rong Xu followed up with a 3bet to 52,000 from the button. Bo Yan Shi quickly 4bet his 284,000 stack from the big blind, and was snap called by both Odette and Rong.

Event 2 in the Montréal Poker Expo was a $135 + $15 NL Hold’em Shootout tournament. There was a hard cap of 100 players in the event, and players had to win their 10-handed table in order to pass through to the final table. Everyone who made the final table was in the money in the event. The total prize pool in the event was $13,095.00, which was distributed according to the following table.
