The players remaining in the Strike Out Cancer event are approaching their first break of the day, which is scheduled after just the second level played today (level 15) so that tournament staff can remove the T100 chips now that they are no longer needed.
As the break approaches, the tournament is already down to 211 players and the pace remains fast and furious. To start the day, an interesting quirk in random seating appeared (seats are drawn via a computer algorithm) – Sylvie Pelletier and Michel Champagne (who are a couple) were seated side by side on table 58. Michel has now been eliminated from the tournament and only Sylvie remains.
