Tonight is Event 14 in the Montréal Poker Expo, which is a $90 + $10 + $25 NL Hold’em Bounty tournament. A bounty tournament is the traditional closing event in any festival hosted by Playground Poker Club, and the Montréal Poker Expo is no exception.
The best thing about a bounty tournament is the immediate gratification you get when you eliminate another player – not only are you that much closer to making the money in the tourney, but you get an instant $25 in the form of that player’s bounty chip.
Judging by the strong participation numbers throughout the festival, Event 14 should attract a very healthy field, so the traditional prize pool should be excellent as well – really, in a bounty tournament there are two ways to win!
