    8th place: David Nadler

David Nadler just lost back to back hands to George Kazarian to finish his deep run in 8th place.

In the first hand, David opened to 350,000 from middle position, and called George’s late-position all-in for 1,140,000. His King of Diamonds Queen of Diamonds couldn’t overcome George’s Ace of Diamonds Jack of Clubs on a board showing 9 of Spades 8 of Spades 2 of Hearts Jack of Hearts Ace of Spades, leaving him with 840,000 behind.

He moved his stack in the very next hand, and again found himself heads-up and behind George.

David: 5 of Spades 5 of Clubs
George: Queen of Spades Queen of Hearts

Board: 10 of Clubs 2 of Hearts 3 of Clubs 8 of Spades Ace of Clubs

    9th place: Stephane Gauthier

After doubling Danny Rouleau up not too long ago, Stephane Gauthier fell on the short end of the leaderboard. Facing an open from Mark Thomas Wells, Stephane moved his last 5 big blinds in from the big blind position, and found a call.

Mark: 9 of Clubs 10 of Clubs

Stephane: King of Spades Queen of Spades

Mark spiked the river to eliminate Stephane, as the board read Ace of Hearts Ace of Clubs 3 of Diamonds 6 of Diamonds 10 of Hearts.

    Mclean out in 10th

Brian Mclean was playing 800K on the button when action folded around to him and he open shoved his sub-10bb stack. Ian Armorer in the small blind folded, but Mark Thomas Wells thought about it for a minute and then called.

Brian: Queen of Spades 10 of Spades
Mark: Ace of Clubs 5 of Hearts

Mark’s Ace-high was ahead and it stayed ahead the whole way as the community cards were dealt: 7 of Diamonds 3 of Diamonds King of Hearts 8 of Hearts Jack of Spades. Mark wrapped the table to congratulate Brian – and then merged the stacks into his own.

    10th place: Brian Mclean, $1,780.00

Hezkiel Menache, who was among the smallest-stacked players at the table, opened to 250K from UTG and action folded around to George who thought for about 30 seconds before shoving all-in. Everyone including both blinds folded and Hezkiel insta-called and flipped over Ace of Clubs Ace of Diamonds while George groaned and turned over his 10 of Spades 10 of Hearts.

The Aces held on a board of 5 of Diamonds 9 of Spades 6 of Clubs Queen of Hearts 5 of Clubs and Hezkiel took the pot.

    Marc eliminated by Mark

    2015/08/24 - 21:05 by

Marc Doyer-St-Jean has been eliminated in 11th place by Mark Thomas Wells. Marc open shoved is small stack and action folded around to Mark, who quickly made the call and turned over Ace of Spades Queen of Spades. Marc held 7 of Hearts 7 of Spades.

The flop of 9 of Diamonds Ace of Clubs 6 of Hearts put Mark in the lead and the 3 of Spades 2 of Hearts were not what Marc was looking for. The tournament is now down to 10 players, so the players are racking all of their chips in preparation for the redraw as the players take the final table.

With 595,000 to his name, Ruben Perceval moved all-in from early position. It folded around to Cherif Mohand in the small blind, who isolated my moving all-in himself. The two went heads-up to the flop:

Ruben: Ace of Clubs 9 of Spades
Cherif: 8 of Clubs 8 of Spades

Board: Jack of Clubs 3 of Spades 2 of Hearts 8 of Hearts 7 of Hearts

Tedde: Ace of Clubs King of Clubs
Mark: 8 of Clubs 8 of Diamonds

He found no help on the 4 of Clubs Jack of Hearts 9 of Spades 9 of Clubs 2 of Spades board, and make his exit in 13th place.

    14th place: Brian Bond

George Kazarian opened to 200,000 from under the gun, and found himself heads-up versus Brian Bond, who made the call from the big blind. On a flop of 4 of Clubs 7 of Clubs 2 of Clubs, Brian tanked for a moment and lead out with an all-in of roughly 730,000. George made the quick call, and they tabled their hands.

Brian: 9 of Hearts 8 of Clubs
George: Queen of Clubs Queen of Diamonds

The running cards were 9 of Spades and 2 of Diamonds, and George’s pair of queens were good enough to eliminate Brian in 14th place. George now sits on a stack upwards of 3,200,000.
