Day 2 of Event 1 has now come to a close, and 13 players will be back tomorrow at 7:30pm for the conclusion of the tournament. There will be a full seating redraw, which will be published shortly, as well as another redraw when the final table of 10 players is reached.

After winning a huge pot to eliminate former chip leader Armry Senat, Terry Nother has leaped ahead of the pack deep in Event 1, and currently holds the chip lead with roughly 4.7M in front of him. Second in chips is Andrew Sarazin, who is still hovering around the 3 million mark.

Although quite few women entered the tournament and qualified for Day 2, there are just 3 women left in the field with 72 players left overall.
Players are returning from their break after level 19. Tournament staff has now removed the blue T500 chips from play and, starting with this level, the blinds will now be 40 minutes long. There are just 124 players remaining.
