Alexandre Bedard opened to 50K from the button in a unopened pot, and was followed by an all-in from Gregory Katayami in the big blind. Having already wagered 20% of his stack, Alexandre committed his remaining 200K into the middle.

Action folded around to Steve Daraiche in the big blind, who placed a small raise, then snap called when Richard Leger moved in for just under 400K.

Mike Fraser was playing very passively today, and was blinded down until just one big blind. Sitting in the big blind, he was automatically all-in. Play folded around until Gregory Katayama on the button, who moved his 250K stack in to go heads-up with Mike.

, Thanh-Phong 3-bet his 356K stack after having his bet min-raised by Steve Daraiche. Steve made the call, and they turned over their hands.

We just witnessed the first all-in and call of the night, as Thanh-Phong Bui 4-bet jammed his 325K stack and got called by Richer Leger. They both turned over the same hand, a pair of sixes, with Thanh-Phong holding black cards, and Richard with red sixes. There was a sweat, as the turn brought a third diamond on board, but the hand finished in a chop.
Event 12 resumes tonight with Day 3, and we will be playing down to a winner tonight. 10 players are back today to battle it out for the $21,500 first prize, which is accompanied by a Playground Poker Montreal Festival bracelet!
