It only took one hand for the final table of Event 2 to be over! The 10 final tableist decided they wanted to do an even chop, but were told that 5% of the prizepool has to be reserved for the winner in the event of a deal. They agreed to this, but then also made a gentlemen’s agreement to all go all-in blind on the first hand… Surely enough, the first hand was dealt, and all 10 players announced they were all-in!
It was finally Sylvain Cote, holding , who scooped the pot on a board, giving him the extra $500 prize on top of the $920 that everyone else received in the chop, as well as a Playground Poker Montreal Festival bracelet!
