Chad Gray is the latest player to be eliminated, and also the last player to go before the final redraw of the tournament as the remaining players come together on a single table.
Chad’s stack had dwindled to 1.6M and in this hand, he open shoved on the button and found one caller in Noeung Troeung sitting in the small blind position.

A stunning hand just took place between Gabriel Vézina and Daniel Gagnon that saw Gabriel hit the rail in 12th place and vaulted Daniel once again to a massive chip lead in the tournament.
Daniel opened the action with a raise to around 300K and Gabriel raised to 720K. Daniel just called and the dealer dealt the flop.

Michael Mellor started the day with a short stack but he has chipped up very successfully and now is one of the larger stacks left in the tournament.
In the hand in question, Noeung Troeung raised from middle position to 160K and Daniel Gagné, to his immediate left, flat called. Michael also called from the BB and the flop was dealt:

John Helou min-raised from middle-position to 160K, and was 3-bet by Lorne Wechsler to 325K, sitting on the button. John opted for a 4-bet to 630K, but was forced to fold once Lorne 5-bet all-in for around 3.6M (John started the hand with roughly 2.5M).
Facing a button-raise to 175K from the part of Daniel Gagne, Joakim Beaupre 3-bet shoved his 800K stack from the small blind and got the call from Daniel.

Noeung Troeung, who spend a good part of the day on top of the leaderboard yesterday, saw his stack dwindle at the start of Day 3. After doubling up versus Alexandre a few orbits ago, he has managed to once again double up. After a button-raise to 200K from Michael Mellor, and a 3-bet to 500K from Thi Nguyen in the small blind, Noeung moved in for 1.58M from the big blind. Michael threw his cards into the muck, and Thi tanked for a minute before announcing the call.

Rick Shamshoum had a difficult decision to make versus Chad Gray, but inevitably made the right move to score a double up to well over average stack.
On a flop showing 
, and with over a million in the middle from a 3bet preflop, Chad lead out with a bet of 500K. Rick tanked for a few minutes, and even had the clock called on him, before he committed the chips, holding 710K behind. On the 
turn, Chad moved all-in, and Rick again went into the tank. A few moments later he announced call, and they turned over their cards.
