Alexandre Bedard opened to 50K from the button in a unopened pot, and was followed by an all-in from Gregory Katayami in the big blind. Having already wagered 20% of his stack, Alexandre committed his remaining 200K into the middle.

Mike Fraser was playing very passively today, and was blinded down until just one big blind. Sitting in the big blind, he was automatically all-in. Play folded around until Gregory Katayama on the button, who moved his 250K stack in to go heads-up with Mike.

We just witnessed the first all-in and call of the night, as Thanh-Phong Bui 4-bet jammed his 325K stack and got called by Richer Leger. They both turned over the same hand, a pair of sixes, with Thanh-Phong holding black cards, and Richard with red sixes. There was a sweat, as the turn brought a third diamond on board, but the hand finished in a chop.
Event 12 resumes tonight with Day 3, and we will be playing down to a winner tonight. 10 players are back today to battle it out for the $21,500 first prize, which is accompanied by a Playground Poker Montreal Festival bracelet!

, and with a few hundred thousand already in the middle, we just witnessed Steve Daraiche come over the top of Garry Lucci’s 200K river bet. Steve wagered the rest of his stack, which had Garry covered, and after a few moments, Garry let go of his hand.
“Do you want to see?” asked Steve. Garry nodded, and Steve turned over 
for the nut straight.
With that pot, Steve moved into the chip lead, holding slightly more than 1 million in chips.
