By the time play reached heads-up between Alexandre Miron and Mofei Wang, the chips were split fairly evenly between the two players. It didn’t take long for both players to get their chips into the middle, at the end of it all it was Alexandre Miron who had possession of all the chips in play!

One massive chip leader

During the last break the intention was to count the top 5 stacks in the tournament, but the real news is that there is a single massive chip leader – Mofei Wang – with well over 700K and everyone else in the tournament. The next closest stack contains 210K and there are a few players around the mid-hundred K range.

As predicted, the field grew tremendously though the late registration period and now that the break is over and registration is closed, we can report that a total of 106 players have bought in!

As action continues in level 6 there are 98 players remaining, and with blinds going up every 15 minutes the action should be fast and furious!

Event 3 is a $60 + $10 No Limit Hold’em Deepstack Turbo tournament that got started at noon. Late registration is open until 1:25pm so the field should grow progressively as latecomers arrive.
